Darren is a 26 year veteran to the mortgage industry where he started his career as a loan officer in the Washington DC area. In 1997 he moved from Washington DC to Lexington to get closer to family and start his own mortgage company at the age of 25. He started in a 10 by 10 office by himself and at one point had over 50 employees doing loans in all 50 states. In 2005 he saw the internet lending business changing at a fast pace and decided to switch business models from a multi-state internet business to helping people in his local community. He wanted to build the business on customized service for each client, excellent communication, competitive rates and products. More importantly, it was built around solid and moral values. Since then he has built and unbelievable team that is considered one of the leading mortgage companies in the Central KY area.
